Mark Chauhan
Technology Services Officer
While serving in the Navy as an Electronics Technician, Mark developed a passion for technology. After working for small-scale IT companies, he transitioned to managing network infrastructure at Comcast, an Internet Service Provider. For the next seven years, as Network Manager, he oversaw the build-out of @Home, a cable modem network, throughout the states of Georgia, Alabama and Florida.
In 2008, he was hired by the Beaufort County School District to oversee the district-wide conversions of all network system resources: data, services and programs, from Novell to Microsoft. Since then, he has served as Network Engineer and Network Operations Director before being named Technology Services Officer. Being in the technology field, Mark is a fervent lifelong learner, dedicated to improving the technology environment for all students and staff.

Technology in the Beaufort County School District consists of two groups - the Technology Services Department and Educational Technology Team. These groups work side by side daily to ensure technical functionality and educational success for our staff, students and stakeholders.
