A Word from Athletic Director, William Murray

Coach Murray

Welcome, Bulldog Nation!

What an exciting time it is to be a bulldog! I am proud to report that at the end of our second year (2017-2018) of the “New McCracken Era, we were able to clinch two Beaufort County School District Middle School Championships, while both teams went undefeated: Softball and Girls’ soccer. This is an amazing accomplishment by our dedicated, determined student-athletes.

Of course, we would like to continue winning championships. I have no doubt that we will. However, winning championships does not define who we are. What defines us is our commitment to academics first. It is my philosophy that our student-athletes should be ambassadors in the classrooms well as on the field. That is why we have adopted the motto: Academics 1st and athletics 2nd.

As athletic director, I am proud of our great student-athletes, coaches, and volunteers. We stand ready to represent our school and district as the standard-bearers of athletics!

Best regards,
William C. Murray, RAA
