Hello Bulldog Nation!

I'm thrilled to be back at H.E. McCracken Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year, as your proud Athletic Director. Reflecting on last year's accomplishments fills me with pride. Together, as a school and community, we achieved remarkable success in athletics. Our boys' basketball team reached the district championship, finishing as runners-up. Similarly, our boys' soccer team made it to the district finals. Additionally, our girls' volleyball team reached the district championship, finishing as runners-up. All teams represented the H.E. McCracken Middle School admirably.

One of the highlights was our girls' soccer team, which not only made it to the district championship but also emerged as champions of the Beaufort County School District Middle School Athletic League. This was a significant achievement that brought immense pride to our community.

I enjoy working with all of our great coaches, coaches like Coach Emily Rietveld, who was named Girls' Soccer Coach of the Year by the Beaufort County School District Middle School Athletic League. Her dedication and hard work have been truly inspiring.

On a personal note, I am deeply honored to have been awarded the 2023-2024 Middle School Athletic Director of the Year by the South Carolina Athletic Administrators’ Association. This recognition is a testament to the incredible support and collaboration from our coaches, staff, and community.

As we look forward to the new year, I am excited about the potential and promise of our athletes. Our students are not only excelling in sports but are also outstanding ambassadors for McCracken Middle School. I encourage everyone to come out to our games and practices and to volunteer and support our young athletes as we embark on another year of achievements.

Let’s approach this new year with a positive attitude and a spirit of teamwork. Together, we can make it another successful year for McCracken Middle School athletics.
