I am the Media Specialist at H.E. McCracken Middle School. I am so proud to work at this amazing school with interested students, a great faculty, and wonderful leadership. I attended Appalachian State University for both my BS in Elementary Education and then later to obtain my Master’s Degree in Library Science. I am a highly qualified educator with my South Carolina license in both Elementary Education and Media Specialist areas.

I have spent over 20 years combined teaching in both the classroom and as a media specialist. I thoroughly enjoy my job here as the media specialist. Getting to know the students and introducing them to great literature and awesome newly released books are my favorite parts of the job. I am so fortunate to have a career that combines rich literature, interaction with all the students, collaboration with teachers, connection to the students through their reading, and technology integration.

Personally, I have been married to my wonderful husband Tommy, and we are blessed to have our son, Wyatt. We truly love living here in Bluffton and exploring all the natural beauty that surrounds us!
